How does the escrow actually work? ▾
When a client posts a job, they fund the full amount into a Mano escrow account before any work begins. That money is held securely — neither side can touch it. Once the worker completes the job and submits proof (check-in, photos), the client approves and the funds release to the worker's Mano wallet within 24 hours. If there's ever a dispute, our team steps in. Workers always get paid for completed work. No exceptions.
What does Mano cost? ▾
Workers pay $0. The app is free to download, free to use, and Mano takes zero fees on job payouts. You bid the job — you keep 100% of what you charge. Clients pay a small platform fee to access verified workers and escrow protection. Still a fraction of what they'd lose to a contractor who disappears.
What if the client refuses to approve payment? ▾
This is the question everyone asks — and it's exactly why Mano exists. If a client disputes completion without legitimate cause, our dispute team reviews the check-in log, completion photos, and job record. If the work was done, the worker gets paid. Period. This isn't a guideline — it's a guarantee built into how the platform works at the infrastructure level.
Is Mano available right now? ▾
